Arienne Dwyer is a professor of Linguistic Anthropology in the Department of Anthropology at the University of Kansas, where she also serves as co-director of the KU Institute for Digital Research in the Humanities.〔http://www.people.ku.edu/~arienne/〕 She earned her PhD in 1996 in Altaic and Chinese Linguistics at the University of Washington.
